SERVICE RATES 2026

 A TUNE-UP includes disassemble of the machine to the point to affect a good cleaning, 

lubrication, test and basic adjustments. 

A. Mechanical sergers start at $138.95.

B. Computerized sergers start at 179.95

C. Mechanical machines start at $109.95

D. Computer machines with less than 8.5” to the right of the needle start at $119.95. 

E. Extended bed machines that have 8.5” or more to the right of the needle start at $129.95 (computer and mechanical).

F. Extended bed models without dual feed but have an automatic cutter that must be removed for cleaning, are charged two hours. Service starts at $196.00. (example B535, & bernette 79)

G. Extended bed models that have both dual feed and an automatic cutter that must be removed for cleaning, are charged 2.5 hours. Service starts at $245.00. 

H. Tune-up Plus is the service needed for those machines that require excessive work such as rust removal and deep cleaning.  Tune-up plus $98.00 per hour for additional time. 

I. Frozen machines where three or more hours are needed start at $294.00. A one-hour deposit is required on all frozen machines. 

J. Embroidery Module Tune up is $98.00 + parts.

K. Some machines have cutters that are not removed for service and will be "air cleaned" in place. The cost is $10.50.

OTHER SERVICES- 

Repairs are charged the tune-up, additional time and parts.

L. Major parts replacement, mechanical and electrical system repairs are charged at an additional hourly rate at $98.00 per hour

M. Electronic Diagnostic: is charged at the rate of $98.00 per hour and a one-hour deposit is required. At the end of the diagnostic an estimate will be provided. The deposit can be applied to the final repair charges if the estimate is approved and the machine is on hand within 10 days of completion of the estimate. 

As the price of materials needed to perform the services above increases so will the labor rates. 

Please plan for 15% annual increases.

BOA tech labor is $150.00 per hour

SPSC tech labor is $98.00 per hour
